Input Devices

Keyboard-
A keyboard is a hardware device used as an input device. it is plugged into the hard drive which holds all the information used in the PC and it stores all the programs used in the PC  Programs like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power point. The Hardware also holds all the information used from all the various browsers used from the internet and the hardware stores all the history. The keyboard is made up with typing letters with a caps lock where the user is able to make capital letters and normal letters and it comes with numbers and certain button tools such as print screen where the user is able to copy images of work and upload to programmes  It also has a tab button where when the user is typing in a graph the user is able to make their writing go into a different column without clicking into another column. saving time. The keyboard also offers a delete button, scrolling buttons, escape button that is at the top left hand side of the keyboard and to the right hand side of that button there are function buttons from F1 to F12. The keyboard also offers an enter button, a shift button which offers options such as capitilasing letters or for using other options on a button. The keyboard is wired up to the hard drive where it is able to get information from the keyboards typing and store it on the screen of the PC when using a program such as Microsoft word.

Scanner-
A scanner is a device that is used to capture images from photographic prints, posters and magazine pages. Scanners come in hand held, built in and flatbed which is only scanned for black and white print or color. high resolution scanners are used for high resolution printing and the lower resolution scanners are used for capturing images for computer display. most scanners usually come with software, such as Adobe Photoshop that lets you re size and capture images.



Games Controller- A games Controller device is usually come with console devices such as the Xbox 360, PS3 Wii. With so many consoles now being modernized into new versions such as an update to the product such as the Xbox which turned into Xbox 360. For example in older consoles users had to connect the games controller to the console to connect the controller to the games they were playing. For today's controllers they are able to be charged and have enough power to connect to the console in live play while the controller is wireless. Even in today's consoles have changed such as the way to store information they no longer need to save game data onto a memory stick so users can just simply press a save button  on their controller and it may go into saved products and save into the hard drive of the console.

Touch Screen- A touch screen is a computer device as well as a console device which is used to display information at the users pace where they are able to touch the screen and use different types of software such as using the web like safari and where the user is able to store all the information such as downloads in the hardware which is built into the device such as the Apple Ipad where the user is able to download music and store them in the Ipad like apps and music which will be saved into the hardware. Even with touch screen being so favorable with people, there are more and more devices being made with touch screen such as internet televisions, Mobiles,Cookery devices and radios and more and more tablets made by big worldwide electronic organizations.
